It's a funny thing how things work sometimes and how lives are intertwined. I really wanted to go to this one church today but things were not working out how I planned them. I decided to go to Westfield for a bite to eat and hang out in Panera, read my bible and all that jazz. So, I did..... I brought my bible, had some good ole grub and chilled for a bit in there, only to notice that it got nice out out of the blue. sooooooo.... I went outside for a walk, bible in hand, over to the park/lake. I was reading some chapters in Psalms and just thinking about life and my struggles I have had recently..... Long story.... But yea, all of the sudden, this couple that is dating came up to me - seeing I was reading my bible and we got talking for about an hour plus about life and God and issues in life that keep us from God. It really was an unexpected blessing..... It just shows how we're totally not alone....
By the way, I found out my friend Evan's brother Eric is in the hospital because of a motorcycle accident. He is getting his leg amputated - so prayer for that would be amazing. Thank you!!!! I found that out while talking to this couple that I had just met today and then during church service following hanging out with this couple as well.... Small world....
I mentioned that I was in between churches to this couple and they mentioned a church they were going to that was sort of like IHOP (international house of prayer - not the pancake place.... SORRY....)
I found out that is the same church my friend Nissi has been inviting me to for about.... umm.... 5 years now... lol.... Maybe God's telling me something.... hmmm.... we shall check it out and see what God's got in mind

ah, never mind, there is a church group that I really like, but they are only in a few citys right now. thought I'd see if you were in one of them so you could check 'em out.
hey, I'm churching "shopping" right now as well. Its not going well. I have a home church when I go back to school, and thats for 8-9 months out of the year, and there is also our college fellowship then too, however when I come home I have nothing, and its definitely really tough on my faith walk. But anyways, I hope that you're able to find a place to call home!

@BHuggins1020@xanga - thanks! I found a really good one. I think I will keep going to this one : ) I will be praying you are able to find a church home. Just don't be discouraged. God's people are all around. Just make sure you have friends around that are also Christians to support you and you them : ) You will find a church for you I am sure. Just focus on being the church and focusing on God and I wouldn't worry too much.

I only went to the one in Deep Ellum, they aren't perfect, definitely (as always) need to keep eye's and ears open for Truth versus experience or feelings, but for sure open hearted wanting to serve the Lord with everything.
